ART+CHÂTEAU
We discover stunning historical settings worldwide in which to present thought-provoking and engaging contemporary art by both emerging and established local and international artists.
Working closely with estate owners and, as necessary, local government, we identify and locate ideal settings for the display of contemporary art. In turn, we collaborate closely with artists, art galleries and other art workers to curate and mount exhibitions well away from the “white cube.”
We offer our know-how and wide-ranging experience as curators, artists, writers and organizers as well as a highly connected network of members who support the art+château association.
Our mission is to build a platform for the exchange between local and international art scenes and to educate a broad and diverse public.

Gen-F Committee
The GenF Committee represents the future generation and contributes to art+château’s internal dialogue and long-term strategy by fostering intergenerational dialogue, cultural experimentation, and cross-disciplinary imagination, rooted in the Swiss and international context and attentive to heritage as a living context.
It is a non-statutory advisory and visionary body within art+château, composed of emerging professionals under the age of 45, active in the visual arts and related cultural fields, and residing or professionally connected to Switzerland.
The Committee supports the art+château Board with research-based and practice-informed recommendations while remaining anchored in art+château’s distinctive values of intimacy, quality, and collaboration.
We are currently building the first GenF Committee. Tania Al Farouki is the Chair of the Committee and represents it on the Board of art+château.
